I loved the walk down by the river – to collect our autumn items for the collage but also to collect my thoughts. In a moment of clarity- I wrote this poem about that experience.

I did an Autumn Collage assignment in Art class which involved going for a walk down by Meewasin and collection various items to use in the creation of my collage. Then we used autumn colors to further enhance the items we collected but we were not allowed to use conventional tools to spread the paint and had to use items from our collage collection to do so. My finish collage looked like this. I called it “Fall Sky.”
